This experimental feature allows you enter content (business info, text, logos, images) into your Content Library and connect it to a variety of widgets. This means you only need to enter and update the information in one location and it will be updated in all instances across your site, ensuring consistency and accuracy, as well as reducing the time spent making manual changes.

Adding Data

To use Connected Data, first add your data into the Content Library. Select the Content section from the left menu.

Here you can add various pieces of information (read more about managing imported content), including information that can be used for the Connected Data feature (contact info, text, logos, and images). The following areas can be used with Connected Data.

In order to connect data, it must include a label and content. The label is the unique identifier of the specific data and the content is the actual data itself (text, image, etc.).

Note: some content library sections have predefined labels.

Contact Info

Click on “Business Info” and enter your phone number, email address, social accounts, and physical address.

Text

Click on “Business Text” and enter the relevant info.

Logos

Click on “Business Images.”

Select “+ Image” and this will bring up the Image Picker.  Choose all relevant logos and click save.

The logos will now be available in the collection; add more collections as needed.

Images

Click on “Collections.”

Select “Add Collection” and this will bring up the Image Picker.  Choose all relevant photos and click save.

The images will now be available in the collection; add more collections as needed.
